Over the past few years, the ensemble traveled to New Orleans, Louisiana where they toured for 10-days. During these ten days, they attended the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival; while, performing 10-times most notably in Jackson Square, on the Capital One stage near the Mississippi River, in the National Historical Jazz Museum, and Mardi Gras World.
Presenting as many as 20 to 30 concerts per year, they have performed at local community events like the Canucks Place Christmas Foundation as well as hosting their annual Jazz Gala Fundraiser.
At Abbotsford School of Integrated Arts they strive to “Explore, Express, and Excel”. They achieve this by utilizing the arts within the curriculum to further demonstrate their understanding. With this in mind the students are challenged to strive towards excellence and to use the arts, such as music, as a vehicle through which they can be role models and leaders amongst their peers. The group members see themselves as musical ambassadors and hope to leave audiences with a reason to be hopeful about the future of today’s youth.
The band includes 12 singers accompanied by a rhythm section with horns, woodwinds, guitar, bass, piano, and drums. Their repertoire includes Route 66, Wonderful World, When the saints go marching and other recognizable standards.

Rocksalt Concert - Sat, Feb 8
Saturday Feb 8, 2019 | 7:00PM - 9:00PM
Hailing from British Columbia's Greater Vancouver Area, "Rocksalt" was formed: a collective of gentlemen, with a taste for dirty blues and bedrock lyrical content.
The soulful troubadours found common ground in their longing for the nostalgic. Capturing the fundamental elements of rock, it sounds as though the Four Horsemen of the Apocolypse are riding for the first time.
With their swooning harmonies and melodic diversity, they are a band not just to be heard, but to be remembered.
In a time where music is desperately looking to the past for answers, this humble brood of brothers have found their cornerstone. Be sure to catch them when they play, you won't regret it.
Band members are Steve Lang, John Jenkinson, Stojan Ninkovic, Steve Mitchenson and Gerard Doppenburg
