Used Books

Our used book section has expanded and now holds numerous shelves of like-new books and old, out of print treasures. Located on our second floor, a small oak table and comfy chair makes browsing through our second-hand selection enjoyable! Our wooden cabinet holds valuable books looking for a new home. Items in this department always sell fast and selection is always changing. Shop at our store regularly to see what's new.


       
 
  

Are your old books collecting dust on your shelves? Why not drop them off at the House of James?
We accept used books during the first seven days of each month. Our friendly staff will evaluate your books and get back to you with an offer, usually within a few days. We offer cash or store credit for your books. Due to the popularity of this department, we can accept 3 boxes of used books per customer, per month.

We are cautiously selective in our book buying. Conditions affecting which books we buy are customer interest, quality and condition of the books. We seek to buy quality used Christian Literature in the following categories:
